Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice
Our bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice provides students the opportunity to develop the necessary communication skills and technical knowledge to pursue leadership responsibilities within the criminal justice field. The core curriculum provides students with the chance to establish a broad foundation in the areas of corrections, administration of justice, criminological theory, law adjudication and law enforcement. In addition to general Criminal Justice classes, students may focus their study by choosing one of four areas of concentration, including Cybercrime and Security, Forensic Investigation, Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and Human Services. Examples of courses in our bachelor’s degree program include Victimology, Criminal Law and Social Psychology.
Master of Science in Criminal Justice
CTU’s master’s degree in Criminal Justice program is designed for professionals seeking advanced skills related to law enforcement, corrections and the court systems. This program is structured to help students develop the knowledge base and skills necessary for professional opportunities in policy development, planning and decision-making in the criminal justice system. The curriculum also strives to help students prepare for leadership and teaching roles in criminal justice settings. In addition to a general Criminal Justice classes, CTU Colorado Springs also offers students the option to concentrate in Homeland Security. Examples of courses you may take in the master’s degree program include Court Services Management, Law Enforcement Management, and Corrections Management.
